Sawatari has escaped Noba's dimension after being absorbed by him. Noba is severely injured after his escape, leaving Rangiku and Chad to dodge and try a counter attack on Sawatari. Noba manages to gather enough strength to save them again, this time teleporting far away to give them enough time to plan something to beat Sawatari. Linking with Noba's spirit energy and ability to sense the bount, Rangiku searches for Sawatari using her kido. As Sawatari descends from above, Chad punches his doll in the gut, forcing the tremendous fish to puke up Ururu from inside of its stomach.
Meanwhile in Soul Society, Mayuri has found the hidden bount data. Instead of using it to help the other shinigami though, he seems to be schemeing a way to get his hands on one of the bount instead. He decides to send Nemu to the human world with a research item, telling her to give it to Ishida. Not soon after he tells Nemu to go to the human world, there is a disturbance at one of the gates where Ikkaku is guarding. The attacker has completely hidden himself and his spiritual pressure, masking his entire presence so Ikkaku couldn't catch him. Afterwards, Yamamoto Genryusai calls for a meeting with Byakuya Kuchiki.
