Momo Hinamori recalls her experiences at the Soul Reaper Academy with Renji and Izuru. She remembers how on a field trip to fight demi-hollows she and her comrades were saved by Captain Sosuke Aizen and then-lieutenant Gin Ichimaru when powerful hollows attacked. Hinamori then knocks her guard unconscious and escapes from her cell, planning to confront the person who killed Aizen.
