In an episode removed from the actual storyline, Ichigo walks into school and sees Lurichiyo in a school uniform. After a confrontation on the roof, Lurichiyo disappears, prompting a search party to go out looking for her. It turns out that she had been at Urahara's shop the whole time. On the way home, Kenryuu confronts Ichigo and Lurichiyo, saying it is unacceptable for Lurichiyo to run away to the human world on her own over a soccer game. Upon arguing, Lurichiyo tells, Kenryuu she hates him, making him very depressed. Ichigo devises a plan of having Kenryuu faint a suicide attempt in front of Lurichiyo in order to persuade her to forgive Kenryuu.
