The fight between Nnoitra and Ichigo gets serious as Nnoitra is about to kick Nel. Ichigo stops Nnoitra just in time but gets pummeled and thrown to the ground many times by Nnoitra. Nnoitra's moves get more agressive until he breaks Ichigos arm. The intensity of Nel's emotions transform her back to her Adult form. Nel shows Ichigo that she is the 3rd Espada before taking on Nnoitra. The over-courageous Nnoitra gets brutally wounded by Nel. Nnoitra unleashes a "Cero" upon Nel which she easily sucks up and throws back at him, just as she did before in her child form. Nel looks back at Ichigo and hugs him tightly not realizing Orihime is trying to convince her that Ichigo is injured, Ichigo passes out. Out of the dust, a standing Nnoitra surprises Nel after he throws his "Fraccion" to the ground. Nnoitra testified that he will not be killed so easily, especially by a women. Nnoitra starts releasing his "Resurrection" form upon Nel and the others.
