Hitsugaya returns from his battle with Koga. Ichigo and his friends are currently using Hitsugaya's office as a temporary base. Hitsugaya tells his subordinants to search for Koga's body and give him a proper burial. Meanwhile, 8th division lieutenant Nanao Ise tells Commander General Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryusai about the Bount crest. The next day, Rantao confronts Kariya with a kido gun, which she effectively uses to Kariya's surprise. Soon after seeing the Bount crest emblazoned on Kariya's chest, Rantao has a flashback, revealing additional details about the Bount's past. Rantao initially hid the Bount away in a cave city, while returning to Soul Society to request protection for the Bount, however, Central Room 46 calls the Bount a failed experiment and orders them wiped out.....
