Orihime and Uryu arrive just in time to see Ulquiorra blast a Cero Oscuras through Ichigo's chest. Orihime rushes to Ichigo's lifeless body, only to be blocked by Ulquiorra. However Uryu attempts a sneak attack but fails, and decides to buy Orihime time to heal Ichigo's wounds. Ulquiorra quickly overwhelms him, a distraught Orihime cries out for Ichigo, which triggers him to transform into a new hollow form. Ulquiorra surprised at the transformation unleashes a Cero Oscuras, but to only have it blocked by Ichigo's own Cero. After a quick exchange of Cero's, Ichigo manages to rip one of Ulquiorra's arms off, after he regenerates his arm he unveils his most devastating attack, the Lanza del Relámpago but Ichigo dodges without effort. Ulquiorra is quickly overwhelmed and is defeated. Showing no ounce of mercy, Ichigo charges his Cero at Ulquiorra from point-blank.
